Mazda Eunos Roadster 1.6i MK2 (NB) JDM Import - MOT & History
1998 Mazda Eunos Roadster 1.6i 16v MK2 (NB) In Evolution Orange
Imported into the U.K. in 2006 and still has the import tags and dealer information
Has a folder full of receipts for work done over the years
It was imported with km and the speedometer was then calibrated to miles and mile per hour clocks. The current speedometer reading is 131941, however this consists of 38,000 in km and the next 93,941 in miles, therefore the actual mileage is approximately 117,412 (basically less than 5000 miles a year)
Now on to the car itself
Firstly this is not your ordinary run of the mill MX-5.
You can see on the pictures of the underside, that it is in excellent condition.
The underneath has been fully rust treated and under sealed and most components also re painted and treated.
The rest of the body is in very good condition apart from minor small trolley type dings and the odd small rust bubble. It is an honest car that is hiding nothing.
It has just had :-
New Shock Absorbers all round
New Tein uprated and lowered springs
New Sportex performance cat-back exhaust system
New front and rear brake discs and pads with the brake calipers painted in metallic burnt orange
15” Enkei Wheels mini refurbished in Anthracite and fitted with Brand New 195/50-15 Toyo Proxes T1-R Tyres
New Induction Kit
New Ducktail Spoiler in Black
New Spark Plugs, HT Leads, Lambda Sensor, Alternator and Power Steering drive belts, Oil change with Millers Performance Oil and a new oil filter
It has had the under bonnet Strut Brace painted in the same colour as the car.
MOT to 22 March 2024 !
The only advisory was a slight leak linked to the catalytic converter, but this was just a loose joint and has now been rectified.

Yes, it’s nothing like the R34, but it’s a fun, good looking car that will bring a smile to your face, without breaking the bank.
Plenty of MX-5’s, but very few MK2 NB Eunos Roadsters (I believe there are around 330 Eunos Roadsters in the U.K., but most are Mk1 NA models).
